Bondarenko's artworks are distinguished by diversity of styles, but his passion is for horses. He is a master of equestrian portraits. Olympic and European champions are among the objects of Bondarenko 's interest.

Bondarenko's favored media is bronze. He handles all the stages of sculptures himself - from beginning model to precise molding from bronze Using the Lost Wax technology. He also uses wood and ceramic in some of his works.

Sergey Bondarenko was born in Minsk, Belarus in 1956. After attending a special Art School he then enrolled in the Belarus Art Academy. Furthermore, he received art training at the Art Academy of USSR with a famous Belarussian sculptor Zair Azgur.

His works have been acquired for the collections of art museums of Minsk, Moscow and Minneapolis. Many other sculptures are in private collections throughout many countries.
